Etonia Collier : Host of the AfriCanada Summit 2025
Born and raised in the height of the Sierra Leone civil wars, Etonia Collier came to Canada in 2000 and has achieved many accolades in her field. Etonia Collier is a distinguished Change Management Director at a Canadian Bank, with a wealth of experience in the fields of economics, transformation, and workforce development.
Over the years, Etonia has built a reputation for combining deep academic knowledge with practical insights. She has shown exemplary work in the financial sector, federal government, and consulting firm. Etonia has spearheaded transformative initiatives, including digital modernization, Microsoft 365 adoption, and leading organization change for 20,000 employees to enhance leadership, performance, and workplace culture.
Academically, Etonia holds a Master’s in Economic Policy, a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences (Psychology), and certifications in Prosci® ADKAR, Leadership, and Six Sigma. An acclaimed educator, she has taught Change Management and Economics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, earning recognition for her teaching excellence.
As the host of AfriCanada, Etonia fosters impactful dialogues among global leaders and innovators. A dedicated mentor and advocate for young professionals, she balances her work with traveling, boxing, and family life
